Bush Forever

Perth is set in a unique natural landscape of Banksia woodlands interspersed with chains of wetlands. It is part of one of the World’s biodiversity hotspots.

Bush Forever is the public policy framework that aims to protect the biodiversity of 51,000 ha of bushland representing the 26 vegetation complexes of the Swan Coastal Plain portion of the Perth Metropolitan Region.  

Bush Forever is the single most important piece of public policy that protects urban bushland.
