Thought about running for Council? The Local Government Elections are coming up in October!
Hear from current and former Elected Members, and our bushcare experts on why we need candidates who support the protection of natural areas and how you can help green your Local Government area.
If you don’t have time to run for Council, how can you help your Councillors make a difference? What questions do you need to ask candidates in the upcoming local council elections on 18 October 2025?
Local Government have Strategic Community Plans, Town Planning Strategies and Local Planning Policies. Council decisions can shape and foster natural areas’ conservation, and action on climate change. How can we ensure those plans properly guide decision making in each of our Local Government Areas?
