2026 AGM plus Social Media Plan

Come along to UBC’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 3rd March 2026 at City West Lotteries House. Catch up for a chat with others passionate about their patch.

AGM Details

Elections will be held for the 2026 Committee and nominations for all positions have been called. Nominations close on 10 February. You can download the nomination form here.

Short bios of those nominating for committee positions will be available by 20 February. Where there are vacant positions following that closing date, we will seek nominations on the night at the meeting. The agenda for the meeting will also be available from our website by 20 February.

All paid up Member Groups are eligible to vote. If you wish to appoint someone from another group to act as a Proxy for your Member Group, you can also download that form from our website. Bring your completed Proxy form to the meeting or else email it to [email protected] by 6:00 pm Monday 2 March.

Join Us

We will open the doors to the Conference Room at 6:00 pm and serve light refreshments. The AGM will start at 6:30 pm and we will anticipate the formalities concluding soon after 7:00 pm.

We will then seek your feedback on the UBC Strategic Plan for 2026 – 2031.

In September 2025 we asked our members for feedback on future priorities and then followed that up with further discussions.  We have now consolidated our early thinking into key priority areas and would like your help in either confirming or further refining those goals.

We will also brief you about our new social media strategy developed by committee member Oscar Jones and implemented with the assistance of university student volunteers.
