Wildflower Society of WA (Inc) – Northern Suburbs Branch

Prickly Conostylis.

The Wildflower Society of WA has more than 1000 members. Our aims are to understand our plants, to share information on how to recognise them, to protect the bushland in which they grow; and to propagate and grow them.

We come from all sections of the community. A shared wonder of Western Australia’s flora has brought together professional and amateur botanists and the interested enthusiasts. It is this shared expertise from throughout the community that is the strength of the Society.

We publish a quarterly newsletter which lists the activities of the various branches as well as providing in-depth articles on a wide range of topics associated with wildflowers. In addition, members may choose to receive the full colour quarterly Australian Plants. This is an authoritative National publication focusing on plant identification and propagation.

We are an “umbrella” organisation: all members are automatically members of all branches. There are branches in Perth and in the country – all offering a host of different activities.
